Meet the Balinese Family Behind Our Cooking Class

We are a family with two children who genuinely love Balinese food. We created this cooking experience because we want to share the flavours, ingredients, and food culture we enjoy with travellers visiting Bali.

"When you cook with us, we share the food we love and the everyday Balinese flavours behind it with travellers from around the world."

For us, Balinese cooking is part of family life. We enjoy preparing traditional flavours and sharing the experience of cooking and eating with people from different places.

Where Balinese Food Becomes Connection

This is more than learning recipes. It is a chance to experience Balinese food culture in a real countryside setting — where local ingredients, traditional techniques, and shared meals bring travellers together.

"We don't just teach you how to cook. We share the food traditions we know with travellers from around the world."

At Tumang Ubud, you'll experience a genuine day in a Balinese village — from the morning market to the shared table. You'll learn recipes that have been passed down through generations, and you'll leave with more than just a full stomach.

"Come for the cooking. Stay for the connection."
